Commercials - "Secrets" and "A Day In The Life"
Client - The Anchorage Literacy Project

Imagine the number of times a day you rely on your reading skills. Now imagine the difficulties you'd face without those skills. Things you take for granted - from reading a newspaper to following street signs - suddenly become a monumental challenge.

Enter the Anchorage Literacy Project, whose goal it is to help people learn to read. From adults who never had the chance to learn to English as a Second Language students, the ALP and their volunteers provide help to hundreds annually.

This was an especially compelling production because the ideas we wrote for these commercials were such polar opposites.

The first commercial is a dark, closed look at the secrets people build to cope with not being able to read. The other is a quirky, fast-paced exploration of the "Day In The Life" of a woman who is unable to read, and how that affects every facet of her life.

The outcome of this production was two very different, very personal and very effective commercials. Both of which you'll soon be able to see, right here.

Special thanks to the folks atthe ALP who made this project such a pleasure and a success. And special kudos to their volunteers who do so much for the community they live in.

These commercials are so new that we can't post them yet. Check back soon, or sign up for our newsletter mailing list. We'll be notifying people by e-mail when the commercials are available.

As always, if you're a company in search of a commercial, or a band who wants a music video, you can always request a Demo Reel.
